The Snooty Fox Warminster

The whole party enjoyed lunch, and the price felt fair for the quality. I had the beef, cooked perfectly, with a great Yorkshire pud, which matters to me. The staff were friendly and excellent. A proper local-style pub serving really good food.

The rooms are clean, lovely and quite fashionable, but I found the bed and pillows too hard. The bar and restaurant were closed, so we went out instead. Breakfast was included, though it was pretty limited: two kinds of cereal, strawberries and raspberries in a bowl, and some croissants left out for guests to help themselves.

We were lucky to get a table even though the restaurant was fully booked, so do book ahead to avoid disappointment. The food was cooked to order and served on warm plates. No frozen food, apart from the ice cream. Friendly staff and good service too. My only question is why there’s just one ale pump at the bar. Maybe the owners could look at that. Well done, snooty fox team, keep it up, you’re doing great. And the lemon tart sells well, trust me. 🙂👍🥣🥗🍨🥂🍺

Everything was spotless and the food was first class when my husband and I stayed at the Snooty fox each year through 2018. Cath and Dean were always so friendly and welcoming. We usually stayed for a week, and we’ll miss being there. Wishing them all the best with whatever comes next. We’ll miss you, Marie and Pat.
