The gardens at The Oaks were such a nice place to unwind, and the living area and bed were really comfortable. It’s a one-bedroom stay that allows pets, with thoughtful touches from the owners making it feel homely. They were friendly and helpful too. Shops and takeaways are close by, including an excellent Fish Bar just two minutes away. Warminster’s restaurants and pubs are about a 15-20 minute walk, and The Organ is worth trying. The location also gives easy road and rail access to Longleat, Wells, Bristol and Bath.

The owner made us feel very welcome, and the cottage has a cosy, comfortable feel. It’s also in a lovely spot.
