B&B Hotel Warrington Hotel

I was glad to find a B&B hotel back home in the UK, since I like them when I’m travelling around Europe. It was spotless, in a great spot, and fairly priced, with comfy beds and lovely staff. The only little drawbacks were the soft pillows, with just one each, and no dinner service at weekends.

The location made it easy to fit in a full weekend of meals, family visits, historical sights and a heritage centre. I loved our stay. The rooms were comfortable, modern and clean, with toiletries and drinks provided, and breakfast was substantial. Staff across every department were professional, pleasant and attentive. They made us feel welcome, especially the delightful breakfast team. Thank you.

We picked B&B for a concert, having never heard of the chain before, and it worked out really well. Booking was straightforward, and the welcome was warm. The two staff members we met were polite and very helpful, hope you enjoyed Malta! There’s only breakfast at weekends, but we were out most of the time, so that suited us. Free weekend parking was a bonus. A quiet base with easy access to Leigh and Warrington, definitely worth a stay.

The breakfast was tasty, with everything you’d want, and staff kept replenishing things quickly. The bright, modern breakfast and lounge areas downstairs were spotless and a nice place to relax. I’d choose this again over Premier Inn, which I often find dated and grimy, especially around the dining areas. I booked this for work because it was close to my office, and was a bit nervous after reading reviews and hearing bad cleanliness stories from my taxi driver. Happily, my room was very clean, modern and had everything I needed. It was clearly refurbished since those earlier reports. The shower worked well and was easy to use. The receptionist on Tuesday night, 7th April, was wonderful. I didn’t catch her name, but she took care not to say or show my room name in front of people waiting. As a woman travelling alone, I really appreciated that. The main downside was other guests’ doors slamming early in the morning, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep in. A card key would also have been easier than a code. Mine was set up incorrectly at first, and I had to return to reception to get it fixed.
