The Old School House Rooms

When I’m working from an office, this is my favourite place to stay. It’s quiet, clean, and everyone’s very friendly. The breakfast is excellent.

Lisa and her other half were lovely hosts, really friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was five-star on all three mornings. Getting into the room was a bit of a hassle because the text instructions didn’t work, but Lisa sorted it quickly. There weren’t many coat hangers, so the room may suit one-night stays better. The station is about a 10-minute walk away, with trains roughly every half hour to Cambridge, Ely and elsewhere. We couldn’t find much of interest within walking distance. Still, a really pleasant stay.

The bed was comfortable, the towels soft, and the place spotlessly clean. Breakfast was really tasty, with quality bacon and sausages, and communication was great. There’s off-street parking too. It was our first stay, but definitely won’t be our last. Can’t fault them.

The rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was lovely, but the rooms turned out much smaller than the photos suggested and the bathroom had a musty smell. I only saw the lady owner.
