Exmoor Gate Lodges

The kids spent ages in the games room, and our son even said he wanted to move in. The place is so peaceful, with an enclosed garden and a hot tub to unwind in. The lodge was clean, well cared for and had everything we needed, including soap, toilet paper and dishwashing supplies, so we didn't have to pack those basics. Diane was quick and helpful from the time we booked, and the welcome book explained everything clearly. Thanks for a lovely stay, Diane. We can’t wait to return to Exmoor Gate Lodges.

Diane and Gary were easy to reach by text when we needed them, while still giving us space. The lodge was spacious and spotless, and the enclosed garden worked really well for the dog. We had WiFi and a smart TV, too. It’s a peaceful spot with nice walks and nearby places to visit if you fancy getting out. The hot tub made it even more relaxing. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in Molland lodge and had plenty of room. Even though a cracked window on the way down meant we had to stay in for all three days, we didn't get bored with everything in the lodge and the surrounding area. The power meter came to £23 for the whole stay, which didn't seem too expensive. There are places to walk the dogs around the lodge, and the enclosed space meant we could let them out without worrying they'd run off. I'd recommend walking to the rock inn too, it's in a perfect spot and very nice.

The hot tub was one of the best we've tried, lovely and private for relaxing, and the beds were really comfortable. We had a peaceful stay, with everything we needed in the lodges. The owner explained everything when we arrived. The pool setup worked perfectly for us: you pay for your family and get private use of the facilities for your allotted time. Electricity is paid through a meter, so remember to bring pound coins, though it didn't cause us much trouble. Would recommend, and hopefully we'll be back soon.
