Courthouse Apartments

We only stayed about two hours before finding somewhere else, and we’re now out over £600 plus the premium for new accommodation. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. The place looked dodgy and was a hell hole, not the apartments it was made out to be. There were no instructions or emails before check-in, and nobody was at the apartment when we arrived. I had to call, and he said he wouldn’t let me in or return the money until my husband spoke to him. Once we got inside, it smelled of mould so badly it scratched my throat when I breathed. The door lock didn’t work properly, the heaters and lights were unreliable, and I didn’t feel safe. There was a mangled scarecrow out back, right in front of the train tracks, which ran directly behind the place. Bins sat outside the bedroom window, which was also on a main street, and the locks were second rate.
