The bed was comfy and the price very reasonable, and the bar staff were lovely. One of them showed me to my room, and they were relaxed about what time I could leave the next day. For a night’s stay it did the job: the room was clean and had what I needed, though it was a bit cold and the parking was awkward. I missed breakfast, so can’t comment on it. I enjoyed my stay.

I was working away on my own and found a lovely, clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff made me feel welcome and were friendly. Great B&B, and I’d definitely stay again if I’m back in the area. I’d highly recommend it. Thank you!

I paid online, but when I got there nobody answered the door. A guest let me in, then I waited three hours with no response by phone or mobile. The owner eventually texted to say there was no room or booking for me, so I had to stay at a friend’s house. An utter shambles, disgraceful and absolutely terrible. Avoid this horrendous place. I can’t explain how bad it was.

Finedon Lodge has a really relaxed atmosphere, great for a few drinks. The customers and locals are lovely to chat with, and there’s a spar outside. I’d definitely recommend visiting or staying.

I travelled more than two hours for a golf tournament in Wellingborough, but Finedon Lodge cancelled my room by email on the afternoon I was due to arrive. Ten other golfers travelling from around the country were affected too. There was no call and no explanation. I’ll never use them again.
