There’s a village shop and pub nearby, and the cabin sits in a beautiful rural spot beside a stream. It’s cosy and comfortable, with a log burner, hides and furs, and wonderfully sumptuous bedding. Everything was thoughtfully provided, including great cooking facilities. No WIFI helped us relax and enjoy the splendid isolation. The toilet and shower room are just beside the cabin, but easy to reach even at night or in bad weather. Don’t hesitate to book!

Emma was so lovely and helpful, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. My husband and I just got home from our mini honeymoon at hesperus Lodge. It was such a beautiful place to switch off from our busy lives and enjoy each other’s company. We laughed SO much, and the lodge had everything we could need. I’m so grateful we found this little bit of heaven. ❤️

Emma was so friendly and helpful, and we can’t wait to return to this magical little paradise. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful, with everything we wanted. A tranquil running stream just nearby made the setting even better. One of the most beautiful Airbnb places we’ve stayed in so far.

With no TV or Wi-Fi, we could actually talk to each other and listen to nature, away from the usual distractions and busy routine. The hosts were as friendly and helpful as can be, and the log burner and quirky curnels for making popcorn the traditional way were a lovely touch. It’s a peaceful, isolated spot surrounded by incredible countryside, and I’d highly recommend it for a quiet getaway. My friend treated me to a couple of nights away for my 40th birthday. Absolutely incredible!

Emma couldn’t have been more accommodating when we stayed at Hesperus with our two children, aged 5 and 1. She lent my daughter some books and brought us a high chair for my son. It was an absolutely amazing stay and the perfect start to the summer holidays. We’ll definitely book again!
