Julie was one of the friendliest, most hospitable hosts we’ve met in all our travels. We loved our stay at Glengarth House, especially the beautiful, quaint room with just the right little touches, including biscuits and cakes. We’ll definitely stay again and can’t wait for our next visit to Wells.

The owner is lovely, and having parking so close to the town centre was a huge plus. There wasn’t breakfast as such: the room had tea and coffee packets, some fruit, pain au chocolat and biscuits. I think they’re renovating the dining area. It was fine for one night.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean, though the absent owners didn’t seem to be supporting them properly. Breakfast was useless for me: no fry-up, just a poor continental option. There was also a tiny TV in the room with no C4. I definitely won’t be back.

The hostess was so kind, and the place is beautifully decorated. It’s also really handy for exploring the area, with the bus station close by. Loved it!
