I've been living in this apartment for six months, and it’s been a great stay. The flat has a lovely view, and despite being near the motorway it’s very quiet thanks to the sealed window panels. The building is newly built and feels high standard, with a hotel-like corridor and luxurious carpet. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and any issues I’ve had were sorted by the next day. Housekeeping is around all day during the week, keeping the corridors and reception spotless and shining. I’ve never had problems with the neighbours, and CCTV in every corridor corner helps me feel secure living here with my family. I’d recommend it.

I moved into an apartment here towards the end of September for work, after relocating to the area, and was out again by November. I had to involve lawyers over safety issues in the building. It was advertised as having 24/7 security and concierge, but what was actually on site was maintenance staff five days a week, only from 8-5. In my first week, my neighbour was abusive and hurt people. I complained, but nothing was done. The building manager also let himself into my flat with his keys without knocking while I was inside. Then my door lock broke on a Saturday. I called the estate agent’s out-of-hours contact and was told it couldn’t be fixed until Monday morning, leaving me with a door I couldn’t lock all weekend. I also complained about noise through the walls from that neighbour, after trying several times to speak with them myself, but nothing was done. After several discussions and disputes, my lawyers got involved and I eventually moved out after two months. They didn’t return my deposit, so I had to take legal action again and dispute it with the landlord, whom I couldn’t see or speak to. I got the deposit back two months later, after going through the legal process, despite being told I’d receive it within 10 working days of moving out. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE OR STAY.

Everything I needed was there, and the place was clean and comfortable. I found the location convenient too. I really enjoyed staying at the Kaizen and would gladly come back.

I stayed here from July 2024 to July 2025. It was very hot, but fans helped me keep cool, and the landlord dealt with the issues I reported. The deposit return through Samuel and Co has been a nightmare, though. It’s now September, and Manpreet at Samuel and Co says something is wrong with their bank accounts, so they can’t return it until that’s sorted. Otherwise, I would’ve rated the place higher. Samuel and Co, you’re letting your clients down. This isn’t acceptable. I’ve been patient until now, but I’m about to contact the ombudsman. I’m sure they’d be willing to look into the deposit issue.

It felt like a very quiet place to me. The building is clean throughout, and management keeps it to a high standard. There are several ways to get in through the access control system. I’d highly recommend the building.
