Anthony and Christine were so warm and welcoming, and Anthony made me a tasty hot breakfast in the morning. My single room was clean and spacious, and they even helped when my charger stopped working and suggested nice places in Whitby. Honestly, I don't think I've had better value for money. Thanks so much for having me. Greetings from Germany :) Only snag was that the WiFi connection was a bit difficult at times.

The position is excellent, and from the attic room we had a great view of the Abbey and sea. Getting up there was quite a hike for me as a 54-year-old smoker, though that's my fault, not the owners'. The room was nicely decorated and spotless, with a decent-sized bathroom. Breakfast was brilliant, tasty and plentiful. Well worth 5/5.

The proprietors were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great stay, with spotless rooms, a very comfortable bed, amazing service and a fantastic breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent and set us up nicely for the day, and the hosts were very nice. Our ensuite twin room was clean and well presented, with really comfortable beds. It's a lovely guest house, just a short walk from the town centre.

Ant and Christine go above and beyond as hosts. We loved the home-cooked breakfasts made with locally sourced produce, the comfortable beds and the stylish ensuite bathrooms. This boutique townhouse is fantastic, well beyond what I'd expect from a usual B&B. It's on a quiet street with parking, yet only a short stroll from the bustle of town. Can't recommend it enough. We'll be back!
