The shower never got warm, which was really disappointing. We only saw the host twice and tried to find them to mention it. Tea and coffee were in the hallway. The room itself was lovely, compact and very clean, with excellent bedding and a great bed.

After a long day, the comfortable, spotless, well-kept room was just right. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and happy to chat and help us decide where to go and eat. It's a great location, around five to ten minutes' walk to the harbour and less than that to the beach. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'd recommend it and stay again.

There are 55 stairs to the top rooms, so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility, though it wasn't a problem for anyone in my party. My room was spacious, spotless and well appointed, with a comfortable decent-sized bed and good storage. The bathroom was compact but very good. Staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The rates were reasonable, and I'd happily stay again.

We had rooms 3 and 4 and were very happy with both. They were large, airy and bright, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had comfortable king-sized beds. The owners were welcoming and friendly. It's close to the shops and town centre, and we will definitely stay again.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, and we slept really well in a very comfortable bed. The room was gorgeous and clean, with a fantastic location about a five-minute walk into Whitby. Light flooded in at 5:30 in the morning, so blackout blinds would help. A more powerful shower would be a plus too.
