We had what was probably the best full English breakfast we've ever had. Jill, who runs the guest house, gave us a really warm welcome and was very helpful with ideas for places to visit and things to do. Great place in a wonderful town.

The breakfast was lovely, and the place was spotlessly clean. Joben is a little gem in a central spot in Whitby, near the seafront and all the shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. We'd definitely stay there again.

Jill and Geoff are a wonderful couple, and the rooms have plenty of space. They serve a proper home-cooked full breakfast. We're looking forward to another visit, and have already booked to come back in September after a lovely weekend here.

Jill is such a thoughtful, lovely host. Thank you for the stay, and for the card and chocs for our ruby anniversary. The room was spotless, with a comfy bed, and we enjoyed the breakfast too. 👌xx

Whitby is beautiful, and we'll be back. We had a lovely staycation, with warm, friendly hospitality and a very clean place to stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent too. Thank you 😊
