We booked the Corner Guest House the Friday before our two-night stay over the bank holiday weekend. Simon was really helpful arranging the accommodation and made us feel welcome when we arrived. He couldn't do enough for us during our visit. Breakfast was brill. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it. Many thanks.

My partner came earlier in the year and was impressed, but I couldn't make that trip because of work shifts. I was impressed on my first visit too. Simon was very welcoming, had a brilliant sense of humour and made the whole stay much more relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Our room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The shower was a little small for me, but fine for a short stay. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long while: cereal or fruit, a cooked option, unlimited portions, and endless toast and drinks. The location seemed a bit out of the way near the whale bones, but after checking, we found the harbour, shops and town centre were all within a 10-minute walk. We've been coming to Whitby for a few years, and this is a must-return for us now. Thanks, Simon. Brilliant hoast.

Simon takes care to get to know you and help you settle in. The room was light and airy, with a slight sea view, and the breakfasts were fabulous. If you find a residents' parking spot, he can sell you a scratch card for £2.50 a day, which also works on the front above Whitby beach. Simon's happy to recommend local restaurants and hear about your experiences there for future reference. Hope to see you again soon!

The room was clean and super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, with proper sausages. The host was really nice, too. This is a lovely bed and breakfast, perfectly located for exploring Whitby's surrounding sights. I'd definitely stay again when I'm spending a night in Whitby.

The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped, with everything needed and a very comfortable bed. Simon, the innkeeper, went out of his way to make me feel at home, including cooking and serving a delicious breakfast. The location is close enough to walk to the beach, River and Center, while still being quiet. I'm so glad I chose the Corner Guest House in beautiful Whitby. I took a road trip from South to North UK and stayed in five different places. This was my favourite.
