That wishing well set into the bar floor gives the building loads of character, and there’s a big play area out back where you can sit and watch the kids. We had a great afternoon there as a family and will be back. It was our first visit, and the service and food both impressed us. The shin beef was delicious and came away from the bone easily. The burrata was excellent too. For dessert, my cheesecake and my wife’s banana tart both looked and tasted amazing.

We’ll be back for our weekly hot chocolate before football, and we’ll definitely eat here again. The owner, Dave, made us feel so welcome, and he’s now my son’s new best friend 😆. It’s a relaxed, friendly place where the kids can enjoy themselves and adults can unwind. The food is amazing, full of flavour, cooked beautifully, and clearly made with care and good ingredients. My little boy polished off his seabass this afternoon and said it was very yummy. They made my son’s birthday so special. It’s rare to find a pub with food this good and such a personal touch. We couldn’t recommend it more.

It was lovely to get the whole family together for Sunday lunch at the Brewers Arms. The staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful, and the fresh produce was cooked to perfection. Probably the best Sunday lunch I’ve had out. Looking forward to going back.

We stopped in for a couple of drinks and some food on my first visit recently. The staff were chatty and really friendly, the food was very good, and they have a good choice of beer. Excellent service.
