The front desk was busy when we got there, but five client service officers were working and check-in still moved quickly. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. If you can get a north-facing room, there’s almost no aircraft noise. The bathroom was clean, with enough amenities, and the towels were soft and generously sized. There’s also a small fridge and a few tea and instant coffee options. Getting around was easy with the Hotel Hoppa bus, and its timetable is posted at reception. A couple of places to eat, including Portuguese, Indian and pizza options, are within a 15-minute walk, in addition to the Hyatt Place restaurants. The hotel can also take in mail or a parcel and hold it for your arrival. A good option if you need to stay near LHR.

We chose the Hyatt place London Heathrow airport because it was about a mile from LHR after we missed our connection. The staff were really friendly and used to dealing with tired travelers, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the onsite restaurant was. It made our short overnight stay an enjoyable one. We took a black cab from terminal 3. With four of us and more than six large checked bags, the ride was worth it: under £15 and less than 10 minutes. One tip if you're traveling with kids, skip the twin beds. Ours kept rolling into the gap between the beds pushed together.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, even vegetarian breakfast ‘meat,’ and the bed was very comfortable. They also provided robes and slippers. I got a relaxing night between two hectic travel days, and despite being right by the airport, I heard no airport noise at all. One travel detail: I paid £6.80/$8.98 one way for the hotel hoppa bus. It was more than 30 minutes late leaving LHR, though it was on time when I took it from the hotel back to LHR. Keep that in mind if you're on a tight schedule. I can't say whether this is connected to the hotel.

We left our bags with the staff before a five-day trip to Dublin, and everything was in its place when we came back. They were really helpful, which made that part of the trip stress-free. Getting to the hotel from the airport was easy, and check-in was quick and friendly after a long travel day. The place was clean, our room felt fresh, and the beds were comfortable. We’re fussy about pillows, and these were surprisingly good. The bar and breakfast area had a relaxed feel and suited us for a drink or a bite. As we were leaving, they even arranged a quick snow shower. Being from Texas, it’ll probably be the only snow we see all year. A comfortable, handy stop that made traveling easier.

Everything is made easy for guests here, so the stay feels less stressful. The room was clean and nice, and breakfast had a good range of freshly cooked hot food, cold items, coffee and tea. Another great stay, recommended as usual.
