We were sorry to go when our holiday ended. The apartment was modern, nicely decorated and really cosy, and having a parking space right outside was handy. It was an easy drive to Edinburgh and other things to do nearby. A fantastic stay for our small family.
The en suite shower was so good, I was gutted to leave it, and I got five excellent nights of sleep. There was loads of room for us, a couple with two kids, and the single-storey place was clean and cosy. It had everything we needed. The owner and her family communicated brilliantly, and offered a fair discount because one toilet was out of order, which we knew about in advance. We drove to Edinburgh easily and booked reasonably priced parking on the YourParking app. For walks, Flotterstone / Pentland carpark was a great starting point for the beautiful Pentland countryside. Aberlady nature reserve was about a 45-minute drive, with a gorgeous walk to an almost deserted beach.
Really enjoyed this Airbnb. It was super clean, upgraded, and in a nice village about 30 minutes from Edinburgh.
The hosts were great, and the location was great too. Everything was spotless.
