A good view of the whole pub from the comfortable little seating area upstairs, which is pedestrian-only. There's a lot of humorous paraphernalia around, and I like the nationalistic decor. It's a locals' pub where locals are welcome, and it happens to serve dinner. The service is warm and relaxed, though the food falls short of the quality at its sibling independent pubs. If you live in West Malling, it's an easy walk home.

On a sunny day, the beer garden is perfect, and you can bring your dog too. Terry and the team make you feel really welcome, and chef Josh turns out incredible food in massive portions. It tastes great and is good value. Everything you could want, and more.

Lovely barman, well-priced drinks and a cosy atmosphere. The TV screens are a good size, and when we went they had two different football games on.

Lunch was really enjoyable, and the homemade burgers were a five-star treat at a very reasonable price. The staff were so friendly and welcoming that we felt like regulars. It was our first visit to this lovely place, but it won't be our last.
