Woods Meadow Glamping

We stayed in Edward Bear Lodge in February, and the wood-fired hot tub took some effort to keep warm in the cold weather. We bought a few extra boxes of firewood from the hosts at £10 each, though once the tub was hot, it was HOT! The lodge had everything our family needed, and the huge field gave the kids room to run around. They also loved the Valentine’s decorations. Our hosts made the stay feel personal, taking time to talk with us and the children and being attentive from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the woodland walk to nearby shops, the wildlife on site and quiet mornings on the veranda with a cuppa. Woods Meadow Glamping felt like an escape, even though it was only 25 minutes from home. We'd recommend it to Kent locals looking for a peaceful, family-friendly weekend away without a long journey. The kids had a great time, and it was a handy base for exploring the area. I found the accommodation clean, cosy and equipped with what we needed. The place is well kept and peaceful, with a nice mix of nature and comfort. It was just right for switching off for a few days, and I’d happily stay again.

The host was ready to help whenever we called, and even gave us a hand with the wood-fired hot tub. It took about 3-4 hours to heat, but was a great experience. Our stay was fantastic, the place was very clean and had all the utilities we needed. No complaints at all, and we’ll definitely return!

It’s quiet and peaceful here, with plenty of walks nearby and town not too far away. We had a really great getaway at Woods Meadow Glamping. There was enough space for 5 adults, and the accommodation had all the amenities we needed. I’d definitely recommend it.
