The setting was peaceful and lovely, with great views, a pub just around the corner and parking right at the property. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, just as advertised. Lynda and Peter made us feel so welcome and were happy to help with anything. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was delicious, especially Peter's homemade preserves. We had a lovely couple of nights and would happily stay again. Thank you, Lynda and Peter 🙂

The daily fresh milk and water in the mini fridge were a thoughtful touch, and the shower was the best I've ever had. Our room was spotless, and Lynda and Peter made us feel at home from the start. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the homemade porridge, which I'd happily recommend. Nothing was too much trouble, and I'd love to come back.

Peter and Linda recommended a lovely restaurant just seconds from the house, and we were really impressed. They were such accommodating hosts that the only trouble came from us! The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was first rate, with excellent homemade preserves. We enjoyed our couple of nights in this little gem and would book again if we're in the area. Thanks to you both for making our stay so pleasant.

We left on 11/09/21 feeling as if we'd known Peter and Lynda for years. They shared great information about the area and were happy to help with anything. The cottage is full of character, a little quirky, and the comfortable room and breakfast with homemade preserves made for a lovely stay. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived on 09/09/21. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or return. Thank you, Lynda and Peter. Hopefully we'll meet again. Jo and Simon ❤️

The pub a few yards up the road was easy to walk to, with good beer and lovely food. Back at the beautiful old English cottage, our bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Peter and Lynda were friendly, the service was great, and breakfast was made with quality food. It was a fantastic stay and very good value. We'd gladly visit again and have no hesitation recommending it. 5*
