On a warm summer evening, the outdoor area was perfect, with plenty of benches, its own bar and fresh pizza from another van. This is a really lovely pub in rural westbury, with friendly staff, great service and beautifully presented food. We liked the toast and calamari plates. The burgers were lovely, including the 3D ordered and Korean burger. I'd never tried a Korean burger before. It was a good portion, though a bit too sweet for me, and I'm not sure whether that's typical. The mackerel toast at £9 seemed a little steep. Parking is free but can get busy, as it did on Friday night. I'd recommend a visit.

The little extension was a lovely spot for dinner, with just three tables and a relaxed feel. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I had the squid starter followed by flat iron steak with salad. Both were cooked beautifully, and the dressing was just right. My husband really enjoyed his mushroom parfait and cheeseburger too. We’re lucky to have Three Daggars nearby and will be back soon.

Really enjoyed the cosy, rustic setting. The weather wasn't great, so we'll have to come back and try sitting outside. We had the set menu lunch, which was excellent, and everything tasted good. The friendly staff brought it out promptly without any fuss. The fries deserve a mention too, they even outshone the thick-cut chips served with the fish and chips.

The room was spotless, cosy, and beautifully furnished, and the farm shop had plenty of local produce and tempting things to take home. It felt like a real treat to stay the night, especially for the price, which was excellent for the food, service, and comfort. At dinner, the meat was full of flavour and cooked just right. The roast potatoes had a lovely crispness, the seasonal veg was fresh, and the rich, silky gravy brought it all together. Breakfast was superb too. Staff were warm and attentive from dinner through breakfast, welcoming without getting in the way. A memorable country getaway, and I'd happily return.

The room is lovely and usually bustling on Sundays, so it's worked well as an easy place to meet friends. We've mostly stuck to the roasts, which are okay, but not exceptional or worth £22 to us. This time the beef was delicious, while the pork belly was nice but fatty. There was barely any gravy, and the extra £2 portion was only half full, though the gravy itself was flavourful. There wasn't much non-potato veg, and the menu-listed apple and horseradish sauces don't come with the roast automatically. Service can be hit and miss. We haven't always had the same waitstaff throughout the meal, which doesn't work as well, and some of the young staff seem unbothered. Crumble and brownie were good, but the rice pudding was terrible. We heard diners at the next table ask for theirs to be taken back because they couldn't eat it, but tried ours anyway. It wasn't sweet at all, and had burnt, crispy stuff on the outside with dry, stodgy rice pudding inside. None of our four could eat it. When we told the waitress, she didn't seem interested and simply took the plates away. We were surprised it remained on the bill, especially since others had also been unhappy. Maybe it was a bad batch, but it wasn't handled very well. The indoor setup and atmosphere are great, and the food and service are usually okay. We'll try something other than a roast next time.
