Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Westhill

We had a lovely stay and I'd recommend this hotel over other chain hotels. Breakfast ran from 6 to 10 am, with a full cooked buffet, cereal, toast, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks and fresh fruit. The gym is small but has what you'd want, though under 18s need to be with an adult. There's also a nice ground-floor bar serving non alcoholic drinks. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is near AFC's training ground, around 15/20 minutes from the city centre. It cost around £60 for our family of four for one night. Our room was minimalist and could maybe have used more towels, though to be fair we could have phoned down for them.

My kids and I had a wonderful stay, and there's plenty of free parking onsite. McDonald's, Tesco and a fuel station with the cheapest prices in the area are all less than a five-minute drive away. The hotel and staff were outstanding, and Room 148 was high quality with top-notch services. The Evening duty Manager was cheerful, friendly and excellent in the role. Breakfast was a highlight too: brilliantly cooked, with excellent service from a staff member who was genuinely nice and friendly. Thank you for such a great experience. I highly recommend the hotel, especially for breakfast.

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms, and the hotel is about 15-20 minutes from Aberdeen. We really enjoyed breakfast with chef Noa, who cheerfully looked after all the tables and checked what guests preferred, and Molly, who worked hard to keep everything tidy. Thanks as well to the helpful receptionist on 17-18 Feb. We got in late at night with the wrong booking dates, but he managed to amend the booking and welcomed us 😀. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and spotless, with a good layout and modern design. Air conditioning was a real plus during that warm week, and the shower was good with plenty of room. Breakfast offered a very good range of cooked and continental options, plus make-your-own waffles. There's also a basic gym on the 1st floor with modern equipment. Parking was free with lots of spaces, and it's only a half-hour drive into Aberdeen. Reception was clean and tidy, and the staff member gave us a friendly welcome, explained the facilities, and greeted us whenever we passed. I'd recommend it for a comfortable stay.
