Countryside Escape - The Night Owl

Fiona was a great host and even made us high tea when we arrived. Breakfast was fresh to order and locally sourced. The farmhouse has been renovated beautifully, with lovely modern ensuite rooms, and the garden and countryside views are brilliant. It's a great rural spot close to Alnwick.

The Night Owl is in a peaceful spot, with many of Northumberland's visitor attractions within easy reach. Fiona welcomed us warmly and made us feel completely at ease in her farmhouse. After our long journey, the afternoon tea she greeted us with was much appreciated. The stay went by far too quickly, so hopefully we'll come back for more of Fiona's hospitality.

The garden and views around the house are out of this world, and the place itself is beautiful. Fiona greeted us at the door, showed us around, then let us know there was complimentary afternoon tea in the dining room. Such a lovely gesture, and it was delicious. Our bed was comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was awesome, with fruit, croissants, and a full English, all cooked perfectly. Fiona's a fantastic host and an amazing cook. We had a wonderful stay at this delightful B&B, a real Northumberland gem we're so glad we found.
