We stayed in room 3 for one night, and I was surprised by how much we got for such a reasonable price. It was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom had soap, shower gel, and shampoo too, so I can’t fault anything. There wasn’t food at the hotel, but there are lots of cafes nearby. I’ll come back next time I need to stay in Wetherby. Thank you, Royal Oak!

What a great time! The pint was amazing, and the BBQ chicken pizza was to die for. The chef even brought out some fries for free.

Lovely to see new tenants at The Royal Oak. It’s been refurbished to a very high standard, with good beer at good prices. There’s no food, so I can’t review that. We’ll be back soon, and I wish the team all the best for a successful tenancy.

There’s plenty of seating inside this lovely old traditional pub, and they had a couple of good ales on. It also has a great big friendly dog.

The pub was immaculate and getting ready for Halloween, and it has a cute dog called Buddy. After my van broke down opposite The Royal Oak, I knew I was being towed home, so I enjoyed a couple of pints while waiting for recovery. The staff and other customers were friendly. 10/10, I’d get “stranded” there again. Wish it were my local.
