We had a fantastic week at Anchor cottage, with four adults and our two-year-old. The owner, Shelley, was helpful throughout and even supplied a highchair and child gate. The house was immaculate and had everything we could need, including buckets and spades. There are three bedrooms across three floors: an en-suite double on the top floor, another double on the first floor beside the family bathroom, and a toilet downstairs. The place went above and beyond what I’d expect for the price. We also got a parking permit for one car in a car park five minutes away on foot. The beach and railway station are both three minutes away, with free parking included. If you want a great holiday base, Anchor cottage is for you. We booked through Sykes cottages, and it’s also available on booking.com.
