Farthings

I stayed with my son for three nights while he attended Weymouth College. The accommodation was superb, and the host was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was a buffet with cereal, fruit, tea and coffee, available when you wanted it, so there was no rushing around in the morning. We’ll definitely stay again, there’s no need to look elsewhere.

Peter made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Driftwood B&B. Our room was ready early, and he kindly let us check in ahead of time, which we really appreciated after a long journey. It was spotless and tidy, with a newly refurbished bathroom that looked good and felt comfortable. We were glad to find a generous supply of tea and coffee sachets too. Breakfast was simple but just right, with cereal, Weetabix, porridge, toast, fruit, butter, jam and a range of hot and cold drinks. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service and hospitality were excellent. I’d happily recommend Driftwood B&B as a friendly, relaxing place to stay, and we’d definitely return.

The team were so helpful, even keeping my bag safe in the staff room while I was out for the day because it was too heavy to carry. The hospitality was amazing, and there was a free continental breakfast. My room was spacious and clean, with free hot drinks. Awesome B&B, I’ll definitely book again.

The B&B brought back memories for us, and the host made us feel very welcome. Weymouth is a beautiful place, with the docks around a ten minute walk away and the beach about fifteen minutes on foot. It’s flat, with no hills to climb. I loved how fresh the bedding smelled, and breakfast was great. It was basic, but the avocado made my day. Our daughter ate more than usual, so it must have tasted good. We appreciated being able to use the garden or dining room when we ordered takeaway. I also loved all the wooden framed mirrors around the house.
