Getting around was easy, with the town and beach just minutes away and the station right next door, which is handy if you rely on trains. The rooms were clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. My friend liked her breakfast, but mine unfortunately wasn’t great. It’s not suitable for someone with mobility issues like me. We had to climb about five flights of stairs to reach our room, and it still wasn’t quite at the top. The view was rubbish, sadly, but someone has to get that one.

The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were so friendly that we felt at ease straight away. They were great with our son too, making him laugh over and over. We only stayed for the night. The room was extremely hot, though there is a heatwave on right now. The location can be a bit troubling too, since you constantly hear passing vehicles and loud people who are drinking.

It’s well located near the beach, and I’d recommend staying here. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and breakfast was nice. There was a little mix-up about the deposit.

I had a very comfortable, restful night and was waited on hand and foot. I brought earplugs, as I do everywhere I travel because I’ve had noise problems even in luxury hotels. The room was clean and spacious, with high ceilings and particularly lovely linens. The train station is right next door, and the beach and Weymouth Old Town are an easy walk away. The Old Town is lovely. Great stay, highly recommended!

We booked at one of the better rates we could find in peak summer, and it included a cooked breakfast. The room was a little small, and this isn’t a luxury hotel, but it was impeccably clean, which we always appreciate. The Clifton Hotel was a great choice for our summer stay. It’s right in the heart of Weymouth, and we could walk into town in minutes. I’d recommend it if you want a very clean room, a great location and breakfast included.
