The George B&B

We only stayed one night, but left feeling rested and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was café-style, with a waitress serving a hot English breakfast downstairs. The room was neat, nicely styled and a good size for our family of three. Thoughtful touches included takeaway cups for drinks and a bathroom stocked with plenty of body wash, soap and even sanitary napkins.

We’d come back, especially for the lovely breakfast and the friendly hosts and staff, who seemed happy to help. Pets are welcome, and there’s off-road parking. Shops and a pub are further down the road, but we didn’t hear noise from the pub. The seaside is very close by car or on foot. Our two rooms were on the small side, though manageable since we mainly used them for sleeping, and we understand some rooms are bigger. The bathroom was very tight, the shower head couldn’t be moved, and the bathrooms could use some maintenance.

Quiet, relaxing, and dog-friendly, which is a real bonus for me. Everyone was welcoming, lovely and polite, and breakfast always came with a smile. I’ve just returned from The George B&B and would absolutely stay there again if I come back to Weymouth. Thank you for having me.

We spent four nights here with our dog and would happily return. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and breakfast was very nice with good-quality products. The staff made both us and our dog feel welcome. Guests can use a lounge with DVDs, books and an Xbox. We’d recommend it.
