The house is comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, so yes, I'd stay again. But the cleaning missed a lot of details: the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, the fittings were dusty, the tiles were dirty, there were cobwebs in the wardrobes and burnt food in the oven. It really needed a good clean. I'd bring my own duster and wipes next time!

We stayed five days with two families and grandparents, and everyone had their own space. There's plenty to see and do nearby. The house is clean and modern, centrally located in Whitby, and has lovely harbour views. The old town is a short walk downhill, while the famous Abbey ruins and a craft ale brewery are a short walk uphill. It's spread across four floors, but that worked fine for us. The roomy kitchen and living room are in the middle, connected by carpeted stairs. There's off-street parking for two cars, one in the garage and one on the driveway. It had all the expected things, including a vacuum cleaner, washing machine, ironing board and Nespresso machine.

The stairs might be tricky for someone a bit older, but the place was clean, practical and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed, and the location was great. Well worth a visit.

Great walks and plenty to see around here, and we'd definitely come back. The house has a lovely view, was very clean and had everything we needed, plus a bit more. It's good for families and dogs 🐕. The steps from the garden down to town can be hard if you're unsteady on your feet, though there's a sloping route just outside the house.

Some things, like Coke mixers, are a bit pricey, but dog owners are always made welcome.
