The family were lovely, and their dogs were friendly. The room was beautiful and clean, with fresh bedding and soft white towels. I’d definitely return if a downstairs room is available.

We had a spacious, immaculate room with comfortable beds, and the rooms were clearly well thought out. Our friendly hosts kept in touch throughout the stay. It’s right beside the Cinder Track for cyclists and walkers, with a bus stop just around the corner for a £2 ride to Robins hood bay. Whitby harbour is a 10-minute walk down the hill. Thanks, we’ll be back! 5*

Donna was very welcoming and helpful. The double room was spacious, clean and tidy, with a great shower. There was plenty of tea and coffee, plus milk and orange juice in the room fridge. The location is very close to whitby town, but the hill is steep, so we chose to drive in. All in all, a brilliant and very enjoyable stay, highly recommended 👍

At Launceston Villa, Donna gave us such a warm welcome that it felt like home. The room was lovely, clean and beautifully decorated, with a super comfortable bed. There was also a fridge stocked with milk, juice and bottled water, plus teas, coffees, biscuits and pastries. Town is about a 15-minute walk away. I definitely recommend staying here.

We had a fabulous stay at launceston villa in July 25. The room was absolutely spotless, and town is a short walk away. Donna, the owner, is lovely and friendly. We’ll definitely stay again.
