The Whalebone Arch

There was more in the room than I expected, with tea and coffee supplies, fresh milk in the fridge and plenty of information. It was beautiful and very clean. We'll definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and had some nice extras, including water and milk in the fridge, a fan and plenty of tea. The pillows were too soft for me, though, and there weren't any spares. There also weren't many nearby sockets, and none of them had USB ports. The room felt basic and could do with a refresh. Parking was awkward because we arrived on match day and had to leave the car about three streets away. It got easier after the fans had gone. I never saw the owners, and being asked cryptically to put the balance of the stay in cash through a hole in the wall didn't sit right with me.

The room was clean, the bed really comfy, and it smells amazing as soon as you walk in. I loved the care put into the black folder too. You can tell the owners look after the place. Lovely location, and I'd definitely return.

We had an easy walk to all the main sights, so The Whale Bone Arch Guest House was a great base for our trip. After busy days out, it was lovely to return to somewhere quiet and relaxing. Our room was the highlight: spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The thoughtful touches and the high-quality feel made the stay even better. A comfortable room in a really convenient spot, highly recommended.
