The bed was so comfortable that my husband and I slept better than we have in months, and neither of us wanted to get up. The room was warm, spotless, and had a lovely armchair, soft towels, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. The bathroom was just as clean, with hot water and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand wash. It smells so fresh when you walk in, and the owner is lovely, friendly, and happy to chat. The man who owns the hotel was also nice when I saw him in the shop next door. They even had my favourite drink, Madori, which you can’t find anywhere now. I can’t fault the place and would absolutely come back. Thank you, Gemma and Terry xx

The proprietor made us feel welcome and was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the guest house is on a quiet side street close to the seafront. It’s also easy to get to the metro station. There are nice walks by the sea towards St Mary lighthouse or Tynemouth.

Room 7 was on the top floor, the second floor, and there’s no lift. The bathroom was next door, which I’m guessing is shared with room 6, but the shower was decent and everything was clean. The staff were friendly. This was a same day booking after I messed up a reservation with Premier inn. I found free street parking on the next road, about 200 yards away, even with a big transit. I paid £105 for three nights, Monday to Thursday. It’s a pity the place is 30 minutes from my work, but I’ll return.

The owners are lovely, and the B&B is clean and in a perfect location. This was my third stay in three years, so I’ve found their service consistent and up to scratch.

The guest house was really clean, and the proprietor was friendly and outgoing. I skipped breakfast this time, but could smell it wafting up the stairs. It smelled lovely, so I think I’ll try it next time.
