We spent ten days here over Christmas and New Year with the children, and waking up to the sea each morning was breathtaking. Watching the tide come and go and expose the oyster farm below was a real treat for them. Whitstable has plenty to do and lots of good places to eat, too. The house has a chic open layout that still feels homely, especially with the real flame fire in the living area. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for eating in, with top-notch appliances including Miele ovens, fridge, dishwasher and cooker. We visited in winter, so we can only imagine how lovely the balcony’s panoramic views would be in summer. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it for friends or family. We hope to return for another seaside break.

We spent three lovely nights at Sea Sunset Cottage. It was spotless and tidy, with a cosy, welcoming feel, and the stylish finish and equipment were to a very high standard. The panoramic views of the Whitstable coastline are stunning, and restaurants, pubs and cafes are only a short walk away. We were lucky with the autumn weather and enjoyed exploring the beach. Even if the weather had turned, we’d have been happy relaxing at the cottage. Highly recommend Sea Sunset Cottage.

We loved our week at Sea Sunset cottage, especially sitting on the first floor terrace watching the world go by and taking in the sunsets. The house was comfortable and well equipped with top of the range appliances. It’s right by the beach, and just a short walk from town, with its lovely independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Andrew was very helpful during booking, sharing a comprehensive house guide along with ideas for days out and places to eat. We really hope to come back next year.

Watching the sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine was sheer perfection, with lovely views of the Neppy and along the beach towards The Whitstable Oyster Company and beyond. The cottage sits right on the beach, in what we think is an ideal spot: a few minutes’ walk to the middle of town, but far enough away from the crowds. The private parking space just outside meant we could take the car out without worrying about losing our spot, which can be a problem in Whitstable. This was our second visit to Whitstable. We came for a week last year and knew within hours that we loved the town and would be back. We spent that first week exploring the area and looking for the right place for our next visit. When we found Sea Sunset Cottage, we knew we’d found it. We spoke with Andy and booked a week for this year. The property looks as good as the photos and is fitted out and furnished to a very high specification, with everything we needed and no expense spared. Andy had thought of all the details, from complimentary toiletries to a well stocked kitchen and wine fridge. He was great to deal with from start to finish. We’d highly recommend the cottage, and suggest booking direct with Andy. We’ll be returning to Whitstable next year and staying here again.

We came by car, but left it parked because the cottage is an easy walk to the high street, restaurants and the famous pub. It’s right beside the beach, with a lovely sea view. We stayed in winter and loved cosying up by the fireplace in the living area. The house was incredibly clean and spacious, with a beautiful kitchen and lounge. Both bedrooms were large and ensuite, and I especially loved the upstairs master bedroom, where the skylights created such a lovely atmosphere. Though it’s a big house, it still felt cosy. I absolutely adored the place and am already planning another stay.
