A real half-term treat for unwinding. Lisa greeted us with fresh shortbread, scones and jam, and we spent a lot of our time relaxing in the beautiful gardens. The room was fab and breakfast was just as delicious. We'd been looking forward to the visit, and it was every bit as lovely as we'd imagined. It's a great base for trips to Arne and Birds of Poole Harbour. For birdwatching enthusiasts, the location is fabulous: our first dawn chorus included 31 birds.
The barn is peaceful, lovely and very comfortable, just the right break from the noise of modern life. I'd highly recommend Lisa's AGA day at the farmhouse and barn. The course was informative and inspiring, and I learnt a huge amount. It was great getting hands-on, preparing and cooking the delicious snacks and meals, including a sourdough loaf. I came away with lots of useful notes and recipes for when the details slip my mind. Thank you, Lisa, for a fantastic stay and cookery course.
Breakfast each day was traditional English fare, and the freshly baked scones with tea could rival a five-star hotel, while still having a real family feel. Lisa and Stuart made my daughter's and my visit so special. All Hallows Farmhouse in Wimborne St Giles has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and plenty of charm and character. The comfort sits naturally alongside the farmhouse's timeless style. Our hosts' warmth, care with the details and local knowledge made the stay seamless and memorable. Lisa's recommendations were invaluable, too. It's a peaceful countryside retreat with comfort and service, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend it to family and friends.
Those plums were delightful, and we'll be coming back. Lisa's husband must be the luckiest man on earth, getting looked after like this every day. We regularly stay in five-star luxury hotels around the world, but they don't come close to All Hallows Farmhouse. The food was home grown, home cooked to perfection and thoughtfully put together. Our accommodation was warm, welcoming, considerate and super comfortable. The location was beautiful, with so much care in the details. You won't regret staying here.
Lisa's AGA cooking introduction was a highlight. She's a great teacher, sharing loads of knowledge and experience, and made it informative, fun and relaxed, with great food. We had a fantastic few days in beautiful surroundings with great hosts. My husband's birthday treat was perfect from the moment we arrived at the holiday cottage. Homemade scones, tea and mulled wine were waiting for us, and the cottage was spotless and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful few days.
