We used South House as our base for our daughter’s wedding and have just come back. The location is hard to beat, about a five-minute walk to the High Street and two more to the Cathedral. Inside, it was fresh and very clean, with quality fixtures and everything we needed supplied. Free parking too. Perfect, thank you.

We were in the area for a wedding, and South House worked perfectly for our trip. Steve and Irina were lovely hosts, always willing to help. I’d recommend staying here.

Had a lovely weekend at South House with my school friends. It’s a great find, very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated, with a central spot that’s handy for exploring Winchester. Parking was my only gripe, though luckily we found a space in the next lane where we could use the permit. Would definitely recommend it.

The place was very neat and had loads of useful appliances, plus good quality fans. Winchester is within walking distance. Parking was decent, though with an SUV you can use the permit for nearby roads or pay and display instead.

We had a lovely stay and would visit again. The facilities were clean and the beds comfortable. Parking was cramped, though, and from the top room we had to go down a flight of stairs to reach the bathroom.
