Bowness Bay Suites - Adults only

The lake view from the room is great, and you're right by the town's main amenities and the lake, with good walks only a short drive away. The greeting was warm and helpful. The room has plenty of space to relax, and Cats Bells is on the top floor, with digital keypad locks on the doors. Parking is about five minutes away, though later in the day you may need to look around for a space in the popular car park. Some things feel a little dated, like the tea service and the TVs, which only have Freeview. That's minor when you're there for the scenery, though being able to sign into your own Netflix might be an improvement. The bed placement in the Cats Bells room is the main thing I'd worry about: the ceiling beams stick out, so it's VERY easy to hit your head.

Booking was straightforward, and Theresa Marie provided good information. The accommodation is nice and makes a handy base for exploring the Lake District, with Bowness shops, restaurants and pubs easy to reach.

The views were spectacular and the room was incredible. I had a really good time and will be back. Vicky is a legend. The only place I'd stay near lake Windermere.

The pub across the road serves a tasty, filling breakfast. Bowles’s Bay Suites is also in a prime spot, close to plenty of restaurants and just a few minutes' walk from the pier. The owners were welcoming and let me leave my luggage there when I arrived before check-in. My suite was clean and comfortable, a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring. I'd strongly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!
