The room was spotless, beautifully styled and calm and cosy to come back to after a day out exploring. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom fresh and modern, and everything we needed for a relaxed stay was there. Cambridge House was a lovely place to stay in Windermere, on a quiet street but just a couple of minutes from shops, cafés and restaurants, with an easy walk down towards the lake. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the instructions and communication were clear, with helpful tips on getting around and parking. I'd 100% stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a stylish, comfortable base in the Lake District.

The hosts were so helpful, and communication was good when we needed an extra towel. We stayed for a couple of nights and parked just around the corner. It’s a beautifully designed place and a hidden gem 💎✨. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Debbie made our stay at Cambridge House Guest Accommodation feel easy from the start. She was friendly and accommodating, even arranging an early check-in and late check-out around our train times, which gave us much more flexibility. The room was spotless and well looked after, and being so close to the train station made getting around really convenient. Thanks, Debbie, for such warm hospitality. I’d happily recommend the place.

With so many shops, restaurants, cafes, delis and supermarkets close by on Windermere High Street, the location was great. Cambridge House was quiet, cozy and very clean, and the smart locks made check-in seamless. Staff were quick to respond and helpful. I’ll definitely come back, and I recommend Cambridge House Windermere. Thanks.

The host was friendly and really helpful, and replied to messages promptly. We found reasonably priced parking for 24 hours in a car park just around the corner. The room and bathroom were clean, and the accommodation was perfect for a few nights away right in the centre of Windermere.
