A tidy, practical room, good breakfast, and friendly people. The location is central, everything was clean, and the WiFi was solid. A fine place, highly recommended.

Breakfast was a highlight. You choose from a menu, and everything I tried was delicious. The house has a warm, cosy feel and is beautifully decorated. Rob and Becky made me feel truly welcome and helped make the trip special. Rob has so much energy, and I loved hearing about how he marked off the whole Lake District on his personal map. Seriously cool! I’d highly recommend this charming place to anyone visiting the area, and I’d definitely stay again.

Rob and Becky were warm, welcoming, and caring. They helped us with suggestions for places to visit in Windermere, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two-day birthday trip. My husband and I stayed at The Ellerbrook House, and the room was neat, just right, and had everything we needed. I was happy to see that. I’d choose The Ellerbrook house again if you’re planning a visit ❤️☺️

When my tour was cancelled at the last minute, Becky and Rob came up with great suggestions and were so kind about it. They were thoughtful hosts throughout. Breakfast was delicious, and my room was clean, quiet, and had a really comfortable bed and sheets. I had an amazing stay.

The room was comfortable and clean, and there were shops not too far away. Breakfast had a nice range of choices. The staff were friendly and very attentive.
