The host was thoughtful and helpful, and the place had a distinctive character. It's an elegantly furnished apartment with everything you'd need, and the refurbishment was practical and well planned. It's a nice place for a relaxing break, though it's a little way from windermere's main centre, so a car is a must for the five-minute drive. We'll come back for sure.

A semi-detached house with three bedrooms, all en suite, plus a separate WC. The decor is nice, and it's well worth staying in such a stunning location.

A lovely holiday flat with all the utilities needed for cleaning clothes after outdoor activities, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a DVD player, but no DVDs. I would have brought a couple if I'd known. The decor was also very magnolia.

The cottage is lovely, but could use one or two small updates. Traffic noise comes through because there's no double glazing. It's a bit too far from Bowness for an easy walk, and the road is very busy and dangerous.
