The views are lovely at any time of day, and the shops, pubs and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. We’ve stayed at Nagoya Country House several times because members of our extended family have known the owners for years. It’s a really pleasant place.
We spent our anniversary here in 2020 and had a great stay. The owner made us feel very welcome, breakfast was lovely, and the price was good too. Our balcony looked out over the town and lake, right from a fantastic central setting. We’ll visit again.
We stayed three nights in a lovely room with a balcony looking over the lake. The village and lake were both easy to reach, and Jennifer was such a lovely host. Her cooked breakfast was a great start to each day.
Jennifer and her staff made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was amazing. It’s a beautiful B&B in a great location. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone.
The place is close to town, but just far enough away that busy periods are less noisy. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, with lovely views towards the lake. I’d say it’s one of the best places to stay in bowness-on-windermere.
