We spent a birthday weekend here with friends and will definitely return. The outdoor space was a lovely sun trap in the daytime, with a large hot tub. In the evening, outdoor lighting and big folding patio doors made it easy to enjoy the garden and inside together. The house and its interior were beautiful and homely, mixing contemporary and traditional styles. All the bedrooms have en-suites and large fluffy towels, and the shared rooms are spacious with comfy sofas and lovely decor. Both kitchens were very well equipped with everything we could need. The bars, restaurants and lake are only a short 20-minute walk away.

A perfect place for a family or group get-together, with large reception rooms to relax in, a garden hot tub and a games room with darts and pool. The bedrooms were spotless, extremely comfortable and had en-suite bathrooms. The beautiful property is ideally placed within walking distance of Bowness and Lake Windermere, close to shops, bars, restaurants and The Royalty Grand, the cinema and theatre. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay for a 60th birthday celebration. The location is excellent, with a short walk into Bowness centre and its pubs, cafes and eateries. The house was spacious and spotless, with stylish, very comfortable lounge areas and en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom. A huge dining table sits by the bifold doors opening to the garden, where the hot tub is a great feature and the area catches the sun nicely. A brilliant place, highly recommended.

The rooms were immaculate, modern inside and a good size, and breakfast was excellent with a nice variety. It's a lovely, very central guest house, around a 15-minute walk to Bowness town centre. The family who run it are really friendly. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

Our superior room was lovely, with clean decor and good value for money. The heating schedule did leave it chilly on some mornings, but Andrew brought us a portable heater that helped. The hosts were very helpful and went out of their way for us. Recommended.
