Castle Properties: The Sovereign 5 Bed Town House

We had a fantastic stay with easy walks to the shops, pubs, restaurants, the mile walk and the river. Windsor has stunning views of Windsor Castle, and the property was great value for money. It's on the UK's smallest street and worked really well for all eight of us, with everything we could wish for and a warm, comfortable feel. Castle properties, our host, checked by email whether we needed anything to make the stay even better. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely book again.

We spent five short days here as a family of six with small children, and the apartment soon felt like home. The boys loved being just 10 minutes from Legoland, and Tim sent us a guide to places to eat and visit. We also had the pleasure of meeting him. He's an absolute gentleman. Thanks, Tim, for a wonderful place. I'm sure we'll be back soon, and I'd urge anyone considering it to book. The apartment was spotless and clearly cleaned and maintained with care. It's beautifully kept, tastefully decorated, and the bedrooms are gorgeous. I slept really well on the mattress in our room. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedroom had everything a family could need: cot bed, highchair, ironing board, towels, iron and hair dryer.

We stayed in the top-floor penthouse for two nights over the long bank holiday weekend, arriving on 26/8/23. It felt peaceful, with no road or people noise from the apartment below or surrounding buildings, and the view of the castle and area from the lounge was stunning. The old building was surprisingly bright and airy, with much more space and an open feel than you might expect if you're used to central London. Three adults and two young children fit comfortably in the lounge and kitchen. The apartment was spotless, with fresh linen, comfortable mattresses and pillows, clean bathrooms, excellent shower pressure and temperature, and towels provided. The kitchen had plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils. The gated parking behind the property felt secure, and the walk to the Castle area took about 10 minutes through a pretty part of Windsor. We felt safe walking there with young children, day or night. Cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants were all within 100 yards. The management company gave very clear, detailed instructions for the lock boxes and check-in and check-out. This was a novel way to collect keys, but surprisingly hassle free, and the team were helpful and easy to reach throughout. I'd absolutely recommend it for a peaceful, clean and stylish stay for couples or families.

The castle entrance has an amazing view from this spacious, clean and comfortable property. We could walk to everything in Windsor. We stayed three nights and couldn't recommend Tim or the place more highly. We'll definitely return to Windsor and stay here again.
