Our family had a wonderful time exploring Windsor, London, Legoland, and Thorpe Park, all easy to reach by public transport. There was no need for a car, and the bus to Heathrow airport stops less than a two-minute walk away. Shops and restaurants are right nearby. The apartment was clean, tidy, modern, and equipped with what we needed, in a great central Windsor location. It’s a hidden gem, though it does come with a bit of a price tag, probably because of where it is. Thank you to the welcoming host who met us when we arrived.

THIS IS A SMOKING APARTMENT. The cigarette smell was there the whole time, which was the biggest disappointment. Otherwise, the place was extremely clean and in an awesome location. We were welcomed in person, shown around, and the owners clearly go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The information booklet was thorough and useful. There were flowers on arrival, a little milk, dish soap, and a few food items. It’s small but suitable. The decor is dated but fits, while the living room furniture is really old and uncomfortable. The sheets were the best I’ve ever had, and even the knives had been recently sharpened.
