The Royal Adelaide Hotel

The cooked breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. The hotel is convenient for the Castle and town, though parking is very limited, costs extra and needs to be booked ahead. The place felt older and a bit worn, with a late 1970s or early 1980s atmosphere. The menu seemed from the same period. For the price, I thought a good Premier Inn would have given us a better room for much less.

We keep coming back to The Royal Adelaide when visiting family and friends. Its spot beside the Long Walk works really well, and it’s an easy walk into Windsor town proper or to the railway station. The rooms are all different in size and have their own charm. The staff are always so welcoming. Special thanks to Sara and Sarah and Wendy. Breakfast is excellent too. Just remember to book a parking space.

We were walking the Thames path and stopped in Windsor for a stay. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower, and the service was excellent. The restaurant gentleman who served us was the highlight of the visit. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect. The decor does look tired and could use some improvement, but I’d happily stay here again.

Sarah was fantastic during my four-night stay. She was cheerful, always ready to help, and made it clear that guests came first. On the first night, a male receptionist was also very welcoming and quickly sorted out the heater in my room. He checked back to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I’d definitely recommend the hotel for a peaceful stay.
