Both dinner and breakfast were a pleasure, with superb presentation. The staff were professional, courteous and always around when we wanted help. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and couldn't fault anything. We'd absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for a special occasion.

We treated my sister to afternoon tea for her special birthday, and it made for a perfect afternoon. The setting, food and service were all first class, so despite the high price, it felt worth it. Everyone on staff was welcoming and attentive, and having piano music playing outside the room was lovely.

Our reception and stay at The Hillbark felt really special, and we're looking forward to coming back. Craig and the whole team gave us exceptional service. Dan and Sherri handled the booking, then Lawrence, Elle and Charlotte looked after the reception. They took care with every request. They're wonderful assets to The Hillbark. The venue was beautiful, and our guests kept commenting on how gorgeous it was and how high the staff's service standard was. The rooms were super comfortable too. My husband and I married at Hillbark last year, and the day was honestly perfect. From our first viewing appointment right through the wedding, everything was handled so well. Charlotte, our coordinator, was professional, dedicated and reassuring. We knew she had everything under control, so we didn't have to worry about the day's logistics. She was also lots of fun to work with. Sherry and Daniel deserve a shout-out, as do all the incredible staff. Hillbark made us feel so looked after, and I could write many more paragraphs about how wonderful the day was. A huge thank you to the whole team for making it so perfect x

Possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish seemed obviously mass-produced and frozen, and at £25 that was a disgrace.
