Labbadax House

Breakfast was great and ready on time, and the bedrooms were lovely and very clean. The fridge was restocked each day with drinks and snacks, including juices, water and milk. Glenda and Lee are two of the kindest, most caring hosts I’ve met. They made us feel at home at Labbadax House, and each day felt like being with family. Lee even gave me a lift to town and made sure I got back safely. They really went out of their way to look after us. We cooked together and shared a meal with Glenda and Lee. It wasn’t part of the bed and breakfast, but those times will stay with me. I feel lucky to have found Labbadax House. It was the best stay I’ve had, and I highly recommend it for a visit to Wisbech. 10/10.

When my grandfather passed away, Glenda and Lee made a difficult time feel much more comfortable. They welcomed us so warmly, and I left feeling as though I’d gained some amazing people in my life. I’ve never stayed anywhere that made me feel that way before. Thank you so much. The owners make you feel like part of the family. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and served in generous portions. The rooms were lovely too, and you’ll probably spot a gadget you’ll want to buy when you get home. First class service and accommodation.

Lee and Glenda greeted us with tea for our second visit to Labbadax House. They’re wonderful hosts and always willing to help. The house is beautiful, and our spacious room came with plenty of treats, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and snacks. Breakfast had loads of choice, with homemade bread and fresh eggs from their chickens. I can’t say enough good things about it. Go and see for yourself, highly recommended.

This felt far beyond a standard B&B stay. Lee and Glenda were so welcoming and went out of their way to make things easy, from warming a plate and setting the table when I brought back takeaway to offering me Italian homemade pastries made by a visiting family friend. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The room and facilities were first class: a comfortable bed, fruit, biscuits, snacks, tea and coffee, plus a mini fridge with water, fresh milk, orange juice and chocolate bars. There was Sky TV and vanity kits in case I’d forgotten essentials. Breakfast was a cracking finish to the stay. A lovely home-from-home, more comfortable than a big chain hotel. I highly recommend it.
