Little Owls Nest

Fresh eggs and goodies were waiting when we arrived, such a lovely touch. The paddock was a hit with both my daughter and my dog. It’s a five-star stay for us, very dog friendly, and we can’t wait to come back.

A spotless little home-from-home, tucked away for a quiet break. The secure paddock really made the stay, and the dogs loved it. Heacham beach is about half an hour away, not too busy and just right for our dogs. Brilliant hideaway.

We were so glad to find Little owls next and will be back. The cottage was tidy and had everything we needed, with a peaceful, private feel, like a little slice of paradise. Our dog was happiest we’ve ever seen him in the fully secure enclosed field, with so much room and freedom to roam.

The outdoor setup made this stay special. Our four dogs had an amazing time in the secure paddock and little orchard, while the rolling field views and the privacy of the tall fence and gate made it easy to relax. We used the BBQ and reclining loungers to look at the stars, with no light pollution. There’s also a separate paddock gate, and parking is right outside the main gate. Leesa made communication easy from booking through departure. Even with self check-in, she messaged afterward to offer help. The annexe was immaculate and carefully looked after, with underfloor heating, fresh-smelling bedding, comfortable beds and an amazing shower. Towels, cleaning supplies, a vacuum, games, fans, crockery and everyday essentials were all provided. There were also dog treats, bags and a poop bin, plus welcome eggs from their hens, milk and snacks. You can buy fresh eggs too, and smokers have an ashtray on the wall for safe, clean disposal. Our dogs include two extra-large bully types, who are muzzled and kept on a lead whenever we leave the house, through no fault of their own. Leesa gave them somewhere safe to roll around and enjoy their freedom. The annexe sleeps four and is dog friendly, tucked away in the beautiful Norfolk countryside but close to nearby towns. It’s now one of our treasured places, and we’ll definitely return for longer next time. The only things we thought would be useful are an outdoor tap for muddy paws and boots, and access to a washing machine and washing line or airer for longer stays or after beach trips. Neither is essential, and not having them didn’t affect our stay.
