The room was spacious enough, very clean and tidy, and the new toilet and shower room was spotless. We did notice an odd eggy drain smell there, though. There was some road noise, and other guests’ doors closing echoed quite a bit. There was no bottled water, iron or ironing board, but they supplied a steamer, which actually suited us well. The location was good, with transport links, a nice town and a great walk past the palace. On arrival, the hotel looked good, but check-in felt a little strange. The husband, who doesn’t usually work there, checked us in and seemed awkward. We won’t return.

Room 5 was spacious, tastefully decorated and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning was much appreciated this week. I stayed at Churchill Court Hotel just outside the Cotswolds, where the friendly staff member gave attentive, warm service and made sure I was looked after with a smile. The hotel felt high quality, with a quiet setting and easy access to local charm. It’s just outside Woodstock, about a 20-minute drive from Chipping Norton and 15 minutes from Witney. I had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend Churchill Court Hotel. I can’t wait to return.

A small hotel with friendly service, clean and well-equipped rooms, and a good breakfast. I loved the extra USB chargers by the bed. Our double room was on the smaller side but still functional, while some rooms are more spacious suites. It’s ideally located for visiting Blenheim Palace.

We had a really nice four-night stay. It was quiet throughout, with no issue from noise, and the windows blocked out all the light. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. The staff were lovely and make great food for breakfast and lunch. I’d highly recommend it and would stay again when I’m in the area.

The service was so warm, and everything about our stay felt perfect. The breakfast was brilliant, the best I had in the UK during my trip. Hanborough station is within walking distance, with a shortcut through the car park. It’s a good base for Oxford or Blenheim palace, and I’d come back here on a future UK visit if I can.
