I had no complaints about my one night here. I arrived not feeling too well and asked for a particular meal, which was no problem, and the continental breakfast was good. My room, 6, was clean and cosy, with everything I needed. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. I’d booked this lovely hotel for yesterday, ahead of a job interview today.

The brasserie turned out to be just as good as the fine dining menu I’d enjoyed before. Delicious food, a great atmosphere and very good service. This place doesn’t disappoint. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Pembrokeshire area in south Wales.

Food is the standout here. It lives up to its reputation, offers great value, and the off menu breakfast had a good choice that was far better than the usual hotel breakfast at this price. Our Calon room was basic, but a decent size, with a good bed and a very reasonable price. It’s a decent hotel in a beautiful location, with friendly staff, plenty of parking and an EV charger. The spa felt a bit like a token gesture, though the massage was truly excellent. Very dog friendly. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

The staff were wonderful and attentive, and made my dog Vinnies first vacation since being rescued such a good experience. He left more confident in every way. The food was extremely good and beautifully prepared, and nobody minded going out of their way for us. I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel. We stayed an extra night, and I’m already planning another trip in a few weeks.

We’ve been to the Country Hotel for weddings, including our own, and have stayed there many times over the years. We’ve also used the spa and enjoyed the food and other services. They put on amazing events, and everything is excellent. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Well worth a visit.
