It's a modern, well-kept city centre hotel beside main roads and a train station, so transport links are good. There's a restaurant next door serving standard Premier Inn fare, and it's clean and maintained well too. The staff were polite and helpful, though the restaurant seemed under pressure. The only woman working there during my evening visit did a great job.

Whitbread has ruined the model, really. There aren't enough staff and everything takes ages. The staff are pleasant enough, but the service is terrible. The rooms are as expected, but I'd avoid eating or drinking here. The pints are awful and hardly worth a 20-minute wait. There's a huge roundabout nearby with plenty of takeaways across it, plus a decent Spoons with reasonable food and prices.

The room was spotless and very comfortable, especially the bed, and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel is modern and in a cracking spot behind Wolverhampton train station, handy for the West Midlands Metro too. The £8 car park charge feels greedy when you're staying there. I got the £26.99 meal deal with a two-course dinner and drink, plus full breakfast. I hadn't realised the pub next door had closed and was being used only for meals. I wanted to have a few drinks there, but couldn't. The food was tasty and piping hot. Waiting to order and to get another drink took a while because one waitress was greeting, seating, serving drinks and food, taking orders, and clearing and cleaning tables. She was working so hard, and I felt sorry for her. One person wasn't enough for all of that. Breakfast was also being handled by a single person, a different waitress, and that seemed too much for one person too. It was very tasty, though.

We got back from a gig around midnight and realised we hadn't sorted breakfast. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful, and Leon was on the desk that night. Thanks again, we had a great stay. The hotel is right by the station, with a subway going straight to it in the daytime, and early check-in went smoothly. Breakfast was good too. The one staff member working alone did a great job, even though they seemed stretched with how busy it was.

Good value and it did the job really well. Parking costs extra, but that's standard and the price is fair. I'd definitely recommend it if you want a straightforward place to rest, and it's handy for a Wolves game.
